Rogaland offers a magnificent sailing area, you could stay inshore and visit Lyse fjorden, known for  Pulpit rock and Kjerag.

However there is so much more to explore for instance some of the many islands and fjords.You can sail up to Bergen, nearly the whole trip sheltered or head offshore towards the Shetlands and possibly experience weather this part of Norway is famous for.
